Well, very busy. On the fitness front I am working on Cold Thermogenesis (CT). The funny thing is that when I was back getting my undergrad Chemistry degree I thought about trying this but since I have always been cold adverse I did not do it. Back then I was interested in Heat-Shock Proteins and Cell Apoptosis. Whether or not it is effective for weight loss and/or spot trimming (via mechanisms similar to Zeltiq procedures) it will certainly enable me to be less effected when entering the Pacific during this year's Hawaii trip in late April.
I think one of the most rewarding things for me at this time (early in the process) is the opportunity to get wrapped up in the biochemistry from the blog and references. Having access to some of the full text versions of studies due to the institution where I work is a major bonus. It is re-wetting my my passion and reinvigorating my brain. Too bad I went off the research path so many years ago.
Not really often posted to blog. Only when I am feeling it. I do tweet for accountability @HeyDianneHey though.

3/5/12 Breakfast of Champions
Liver, pastured Eggs, Caviar, Coffee with Raw Cream. Liver and Eggs cooked in tallow. Truly the breakfast of Champions. I feel good.
The menu is, or was, a stretch for me. I don't think it will be a stretch in the future. I also suspect that I will not need lunch today.
